HarpPilot is made by one person, so replies are not instant — but every message is read and answered.

HarpPilot needs microphone permission. Check Settings → HarpPilot → Microphone on your device and make sure it's switched on. If you denied the prompt the first time, this is the only place to turn it back on. Everything except the listening features works without it.
Try a quieter room first — background music and conversation both confuse pitch detection. If it's still jumpy, open Properties and raise Minimum Confidence, which makes HarpPilot wait for a clearer signal before committing to a note. If it instead feels sluggish or unresponsive, lower it. Tone Tolerance controls how close to true pitch you have to be.
Repeated identical notes need a detectable gap between them, otherwise HarpPilot can't tell one long note from two short ones. Try a slightly more articulated attack between them, or raise Note Separation in Properties.
Saved tabs live on your device only. There is no cloud sync and no account, which also means tabs do not survive deleting and reinstalling the app, and do not follow you to a new phone. If a tab matters to you, keep a copy of the text somewhere else too.
Find a diatonic tab on HarpTabs.com — those are marked § — and copy just
the tab body, skipping the header, ratings, and footnotes. In HarpPilot go to
Tabs → Library → New Tab, give it a title, paste, then tap
Clean Input to strip anything that isn't tab and normalize the
spacing. Save, and it's available in the Transposer.
That's what the Transposer is for. Most shared tabs are key-agnostic — the numbers describe a shape that works on any 10-hole diatonic harp, and the harp you pick determines the key it sounds in. Open the tab, set Harmonica Key to the harp in your hand, and set Target Position/Key to the position you want. Use Down / Up if the melody sits too high or low.
Standard 10-hole diatonic harmonicas in Richter tuning, in all 12 keys. Chromatic harmonicas and alternate tunings aren't supported yet. Overbends on holes 2, 3, and 8 are deliberately excluded, since they aren't reliably playable on a stock harp.
